Alisa Mae

Alisa Mae is an aerial artist, coach, and choreographer working across straps, lyra, dance trapeze, silks, hammock, and harness. Her work centers character-driven storytelling, blending technical strength with expressive performance. Her acts span a wide creative range, from theatrical and political straps work to aerial burlesque.

Alisa has performed internationally for festivals, theaters, cruise productions, and contemporary performance spaces. Her background includes extensive professional dance training and performance, as well as choreography and company direction. She holds BFAs in Dance and English from NYU, has completed advanced anatomy coursework, and is a NASM-certified personal trainer.

As an educator, Alisa focuses on efficient strength development, injury-aware technique, and creative process. She is known for making advanced straps concepts accessible while encouraging students to develop work that feels authentic to their voice.
