Aerial Cirque Over Denver opened in 2006 as Denver’s first dedicated aerial dance and circus school and, in 2024, earned Denver Legacy Business status while adding a second studio in Centennial.
Safety leads every decision: the school received American Circus Educators Safety Recognition in 2023, maintains certified coaching staff, teaches with progressions in set sessions, and uses high-rating crash mats. The studio has been highlighted by 303 Magazine for unique fitness and by Macaroni Kid for youth programming, and it actively fosters an inclusive, welcoming environment.
Classes run by age and level for tots through adults, with technique-driven training on fabric/silks, sling (hammock), lyra/hoop, dance trapeze, rope, straps, and specialty rigs like cube and cloud swing, plus ground disciplines such as cyr wheel and contortion.
Beyond classes, the company produces professional circus entertainment across the country—corporate events, festivals, weddings, and more—serving clients like Denver International Airport, Vail Resorts, Budweiser, and The String Cheese Incident. Offerings include aerial acts, contortion, stilt walking, poi, and even Colorado’s only mobile ice shows on synthetic ice.
