The Beginners Aerial Sling Instructor Course offered by Spin City equips instructors with the tools to teach aerial sling confidently and safely. This blended program includes a Coaching Module (theory, teaching methods, safety, class planning) and a Sling Module (the full beginner syllabus, including mounts, open fabric work, inversions, and basic drops). If you’ve already completed the Coaching Module in another course, you may skip that portion.
All techniques are demonstrated using a single-point sling rigging. Assessments include both written theory and practical demonstrations. Upon completion, you’ll be certified in both parts of the course.
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Recommended: 1 year of aerial sling experience
• Internet access and a device capable of video recording
• A safely rigged aerial sling for practice
• Commit to ~2 hours of study/training per week to complete within 1 year
• One student (adult) for assessment teaching tasks
• Basic understanding of first aid and anatomy recommended
