The Spin City Beginners Aerial Silks Instructor Course provides a structured path for certified aerialists to step into teaching silks with confidence. The curriculum covers essential moves such as climbs, footlocks, and the first introduction to drops (via the hitch technique), as well as the supporting anatomy, safety, and coaching strategies instructors need.
The training comprises two core modules:
- Coaching Module focusing on theory, teaching principles, safety, and class structure,
- Silks Module dedicated to the beginner-level silks syllabus with movement progressions, combinations, and conditioning.
If you’ve already completed the Coaching Module, you can skip that portion. Assessments are via online theory and video-based practical tasks. Upon passing, you’ll be certified to teach adult beginner-level aerial silks classes.
