Clara is an Italian aerial rope artist whose practice is rooted in movement inquiry—she investigates how the body converses with apparatus to unlock new choreographic and narrative paths. From 2014 to 2019 she lived in Buenos Aires, contributing to contemporary dance and aerial acrobatics collectives while completing studies in Dance (Expresión Corporal) at the Universidad Nacional de las Artes and earning a yoga teacher credential through Ananda Yoga School.
In 2017 she co-founded Compañía Depáso with José Cereceda; their show La Trottola has circulated through outdoor festivals across Europe. Her training includes FLIC Scuola di Circo in Turin and Cata Aguayo’s Laboratorio de Investigación en Aéreos in Barcelona. In 2023–24 she premiered Araké, a solo built around rope and a custom multi-rope device. Now based in Toulouse, Clara tours her work and leads workshops and residencies centered on aerial movement research.
