The Spin City Double Point Hoop Instructor Course gives certificated aerial hoop instructors the expertise to teach on a double-point rigging system. You’ll master special moves and transitions only possible with two suspension points, learn how to safely adapt single-point material, and refine your teaching strategies to support student growth in this configuration.
Course modules walk you through rigging fundamentals, move adaptations, combination work, transitions, and how to layer learning so students progress safely. Assessments include both video demonstrations and theory quizzes. Certification enables you to expand your instructional repertoire with double-point hoop classes.
Must be at least 18 years old
Hold an aerial hoop instructor certification (single-point)
Access to stable rigged double-point hoop or a suitable environment for video demonstrations
Internet connection and device to upload video assessments
Time commitment: about 10–20 course hours + 4–6 assignment hours + recommended 20–40 hours of practice/teaching/mentoring
